ART SPEAK
My art practice is based on the itinerant studio. Within this practice I explore drawing and photography . I also extend this to explore creative activities within my local community and on my travels.
The primary research drive within my practice explores drawing. I am interested in all aspects of mark making. How fluid is the definition of drawing? Can I play with thinking drawing and intuitive drawing ? How permeable are the boundaries between drawing and digital illustration ? These are some of the questions that I am currently engaged in
WHAT IS BEING REVEALED-
I consider this blog as an extension of my practice. It is a space for free association and play. In this pace there is room for more intergartion of my visual ideas. I like the text that drifts into the frame when I am working in this format. They are my unfiltered thoughts. The writing is a snippet of my thoughts, at that momemt in time. I find that some bits are revised ,however on the whole the initial writing impulse is very much intact.
